Refund Policy

1.Five-day paid activation/use refund

SettleBolt is a software subscription billed in advance. For a new paid subscription, you may request a refund within five (5) calendar days after your first paid activation or first paid use of the Service, whichever happens first. “First paid activation or first paid use” includes the successful activation of paid plan access after a charge, logging in to the paid dashboard, creating or sending invoices or payment links, connecting wallets, using API/webhook features, or otherwise using paid functionality. The refund request must be received by us within the five-day window.

This refund window is available once per business, legal entity, billing account, and payment method, unless non-waivable law requires otherwise. We may refuse a refund request where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, abuse, excessive or production-level use, a breach of our Terms, sanctions or risk concerns, or an attempt to create multiple accounts to obtain repeated refunds.

2.Transaction costs we keep

Where permitted by law, approved refunds cover the refundable part of your SettleBolt subscription fee only. We retain or deduct non-refundable transaction costs, including payment processor fees, card network fees, currency-conversion costs, bank fees, taxes or duties that cannot be recovered, blockchain network or gas fees, and any other third-party transaction costs connected with the charge or refund. If non-waivable law requires a different refund treatment, that law controls. SettleBolt does not refund cryptocurrency payments made between you and your customers, because those payments settle directly to wallets outside our custody.

3.Monthly subscriptions by plan

Starter monthly. The first monthly Starter charge may be refunded if requested within the five-day paid activation/use window. Transaction costs are retained or deducted where permitted by law.

Pro monthly. The first monthly Pro charge may be refunded if requested within the five-day paid activation/use window. Transaction costs are retained or deducted where permitted by law.

Business monthly. The first monthly Business charge may be refunded if requested within the five-day paid activation/use window. Transaction costs are retained or deducted where permitted by law. Custom setup, onboarding, support, provider, or implementation costs are non-refundable once incurred.

4.Yearly subscriptions by plan

Starter annual. The first annual Starter charge may be refunded if requested within the five-day paid activation/use window. Transaction costs are retained or deducted where permitted by law. After the window closes, we do not provide prorated refunds, but you keep access until the end of the paid annual term unless your account is suspended or terminated under the Terms.

Pro annual. The first annual Pro charge may be refunded if requested within the five-day paid activation/use window. Transaction costs are retained or deducted where permitted by law. After the window closes, we do not provide prorated refunds.

Business annual. The first annual Business charge may be refunded if requested within the five-day paid activation/use window. Transaction costs are retained or deducted where permitted by law. Custom setup, onboarding, support, provider, or implementation costs are non-refundable once incurred. After the window closes, we do not provide prorated refunds unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing.

5.Upgrades, renewals & downgrades

Upgrades. If you upgrade to a higher plan, the upgrade charge or incremental upgraded amount may be refunded if requested within five (5) calendar days after the upgrade and if the upgraded features have not been used materially.

Monthly renewals. Monthly renewals are not refunded after they are charged, except for proven billing errors, non-waivable legal rights, or a written exception from us.

Annual renewals. Annual renewals may be refunded if requested within five (5) calendar days after the renewal charge and if there has been no material paid use after renewal. Transaction costs are retained or deducted where permitted by law. After that renewal grace window, annual renewal charges are not prorated or refunded except for proven billing errors, non-waivable legal rights, or a written exception from us.

Downgrades. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period unless we state otherwise. We do not provide prorated refunds for downgrades.

6.What is not refundable

Except for the five-day paid activation/use refund window, proven billing errors, annual-renewal grace window, or non-waivable legal rights, we do not provide refunds or credits for:

7.Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation stops renewal immediately, and you will not be charged again for that subscription. You keep access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. Cancelling does not refund the current period. It is your responsibility to cancel before a renewal date if you do not want to be charged for the next period.

8.Crypto payments between you and your customers

SettleBolt is a non-custodial tool. Payments made by your customers settle directly to a wallet you control; SettleBolt never holds those funds and is not a party to those transactions. Accordingly:

9.Billing errors

We will refund genuine duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or proven billing errors caused by us. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method for the affected amount only, net of any transaction costs that cannot be recovered where permitted by law. Any refund granted in one instance does not waive this Policy or create an entitlement to future refunds.

10.Statutory rights & digital services

SettleBolt is provided to businesses for professional use. To the extent any statutory cancellation or “cooling-off” right could otherwise apply to you, you expressly request that we begin providing the Service immediately upon subscription and you acknowledge that, once we have begun, you lose any such withdrawal right for the services already supplied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in this Policy limits any right you may have that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.
